Best way to review a language ever. I don't know why I didn't think of this before.

Bored, so I'm going to update.

Today was... quite productive. I got paid this morning and Bank of America did something awesome so it showed up on my account the same day. THAT being done, I went ahead and registered for AnimeFest and ordered Accelerator's wig. I decided on this one, it's just going to take some teasing and trimming. Also got the craft foam I needed for Quagsire's slippers and Bel's boot covers, so I was able to do that as soon as I got home. These are the slippers. They're kind of uneven and lumpy, but it's no big deal. Also got the jeans for Accelerator modified and turned into skinny jeans, but I didn't take them in far enough up the leg, so that needs to be fixed. tried the shirt on with binding, too... I need to figure out how to get really fucking flat so a bulge doesn't show when I turn to the side :()

Went to Joann's earlier this evening to get the fabric I need for a Quagsire shoulder bag, and also managed to get buckles for the ankle bands for Accelerator (that were actually gold, but I used this silver leaf I had from making the tiara to turn them silver 8)). The bag is going to be circular and the same blue fleece as everything else, with Quagsire's face embroidered on it. It'll be just big enough for my wallet, phone, ipod, room key, etc, because that's the only costume where I won't be able to use pockets. It is going to be ridiculously adorable :3.

Some big things, but also some really small stuff. That's good.

Go back into work tomorrow, though. Hopefully between now and when I go back to school I'll get at least ONE other job- I've got my major bills covered, but having extra money would be really nice.

GOD I'M SO BORED ;A; My creativity is so worn out I really don't want to do any more sewing/drawing today.

I also kind of wish I went to more cons besides A-kon and Afest, it feels like a summer spent working on costumes is a waste... Plus, I probably won't be able to do anything epic next year :(

Today I set the front of Accelerator's shirt, and got one of Quagsire's shoes done. Tomorrow I'm going to go out and get another thing of blue craft foam (and black, so I can do the same to my Bel bootcovers), then do the second one. Also I get paid tomorrow, so come Friday morning/evening I can order Accelerator's wig and the ink for the dye for Quagsire's wig, and register for A-fest \o/!

A little less than two months before Afest and I'm almost done with everything. That feels gooood 8)

I feel like a huge fucking furry but oh my god this costume is going to be so cute. Today? sewing the purple to the main dress. Which is going to take forever. FML.

I have nothing to update about really. Working in the mail room is pretty fun. There's definitely a lot to do over the course of the day (except for a few hours between lunch and the afternoon mail run that's like my least favorite time) and everyone's really awesome. Monday's my last day but with any luck I'll be able to work there again over the summer. That'd be really awesome \o/

Yesterday I got paid, and I promptly blew a third of it on cosplay supplies because Joann's had a massive sale that was like 50 times better than Hancock's. I'm pleased with myself because I was able to get everything I needed (which, admittedly, wasn't much. it amounted to like $30). Right now I've got all the supplies I need for Quagsire, save the dye for the wig, which I'll order probably closer to the con so it's not sitting there all styled and pretty and doing absolutely nothing. That didn't go over too well with Bel's old shitty wig.

As for Accelerator... The shirt's going really well. Better than I'd expected. If I'm lucky I'll be able to finish and heat set the front this weekend. Still gotta find a good pair of skinny jeans (Goodwill here I come) and figure out what to do for his... retarded ankle band things. Probably just some fabric and elastic. As for the wig. Meh. I have one in mind but it all depends on if the Ebay seller puts it back up soon. I'm not having very much luck with a wig for him :(

Anywaaaaaaays when I get this next, bigger paycheck I'm going to set aside money for bills and get my AFest ticket. \o\




Also started playing in the KHR dressing room as a TYL Bel (I'm evertheprince 8)). Shit's pretty fun.

Because I just finished his second arc in Index and am kind of annoyed that he got such a shit end. It could've been worse but. It made me unhappy :( I would watch a show based around him and Last Order though I bet that shit would be lolarious.

Ugh tomorrow is my last day of freedommmmmmmmmmm, then Friday I start temping full-time, which goes until the Monday after next ;; and when I get home I'll probably want to sleep/work on cosplay (hoping to get the shirt and fabric paint for Accelerator tomorrow so I'll have that to work on. HE'LL BE LIKE 90% DONE AFTER THAT all I'll need is the wig \o\).

SO I PROBABLY WON'T BE AROUND TO RP AT ALL. I'll try to, but I make absolutely no promises. Consider this a notice thingy.

Anyways, it should be okay. Going to be on my feet all day for 8 hours but w/eee it'll be good money, I'll have bills and cosplay supplies/the ticket for Afest pretty much covered. With a bit of luck I'll get another job soon after that, SO~ I'll have enough for superfluous costume stuff. Like a new/better shirt for Bel and colored contacts for Accelerator. I hate that I have to get prescription lenses, otherwise it'd be SO EASY and much cheaper. (Then again, it'd also be easier and cheaper if he wasn't an albino 8|) Oi, comiter where did you get the ones for Sebastian?

Also a compression shirt. I have the feeling that would help binding a shitton.

Though idk why I'm trying that hard to make it look good, it's not like I'll be able to pull him off well anyways he's a skinny twig and I'm not lmfao.

Start my job in the mail room at the bank Friday, went to Goodwill and got some nice clothes for it. Have to remember to call Linda back and tell her I need to redo my W2 so I'll be exempt from income tax. The snow cone thing fell through, and I'll need all the money I can get this summer :(

So I have a job for about a week, starting next Friday!

Brian recommended me to the temp agency he worked with before he was hired on full-time at his job, I went to a meeting with them on Wednesday. It's a mail-room job, but it's 8 hours a day for 6 days, and pays well. I definitely have enough for my bills until August, AND money for Animefest/cosplays :D So Quagsire and Accelerator are a go!

Though I'm going to start on Quagsire first because she'll take longer. I found some good tutorials on how to do paw feet and I think I'm just going to alter that as I need to do paw hands. (ON THAT NOTE, if I could get somebody to cosplay a Pokémon trainer and walk around with me that'd be super because, uh. I'm probably not going to be able to use my hands at all ;; Being a Pokémon trainer would just make it lolarious and win.)I'm also hoping Hancock doesn't run out of the blue & purple fabric I'm going to need. I doubt they will, it's cotton interlock, and last time I checked, they had a ton. The base dress will be easy, it's just the paws that'll be difficult.

This is also going to be my first foray into wig-dying, bang-cutting, and ponytail-styling. s-sob.

LUCKILY, Accelerator's going to be super easy. I just need to order the right wig and also style it, which is going to involve straightening only the back, somehow, and probably that one spike at the top. His hair is just messy, not spiky. Aside from that, I just need to put the pattern on his shirt onto a black/navy shirt, either with fabric paint or screenprinting, I have tutorials for both so it depends on which is cheaper (But I havbe no experience with fabric paint, so I'm worried about if it will look "fake" or not- like, make the fabric super stiff and obviously painted on. anybody have any experience with that?). After that, I just need to find some plain jeans that don't have flare bottoms. I'm sure I have a pair.

Considering buying a compression shirt for him and Bel, but it's not necessary. Maybe if I have money to spare.

I also want to touch up Bel's cosplay. Maybe hem the sleeves of the jacket better, and definitely starch the collar so it stands up. And get a better shirt ):

Also Accelerator, but I'm more hopeful about him because he's an easy cosplay. It's just the shirt and the hair that would be difficult. Especially the hair >>
